The holiday season is here and if you are looking for a chance to meet Santa Claus, here are 10 places he will visit on the North Fork.

As the holidays are upon us, it is time to start thinking about scheduling a special visit with Santa. Here are 10 places on the North Fork where you can meet with the big guy from the North Pole before Christmas.

1. Orient Beach State Park

On Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m., Santa Claus will be escorted by the to help kick off the season at thechildren will sing holiday music and refreshments will be served.

2. Mattituck Presbyterian Church Christmas Fair

Santa Claus will attend the Christmas Fair on Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. Railroad Museum of Long Island's Open House

Santa Claus will arrive by train to greet children at the on Dec. 4 and Dec. 5. Santa will be available for photos starting at 12 p.m.

4. Sacred Heart Parish Christmas Tea and Auction

On Dec. 12, in Cutchogue will play host to Santa Claus at its annual Christmas Tea and Auction. Festivities kick off at 11:30 a.m.

A great way to mix a visit to a local vineyard, holiday cheer, and a good cause is to stop by in Aquebogue from 1 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 11 with your pet. Pet portraits will be taken for $10 each. Proceeds will go to benefit Kent Animal Shelter in Calverton.

9. Greenport Christmas Parade and Santa Visit

On Dec. 12., a special holiday parade will kick off at 1 p.m. Special guest of honor Santa Claus will be led through the streets of Greenport by the The parade ends at the Third Street firehouse where Santa will greet children.
