San Simeon By the Sound, Center for Nursing, Rehabilitation and Adult Day Health Care, Greenport, NY will be participating in National Food Day on October 24. San Simeon will be celebrating by collecting donations of healthy non-perishable foods during the month of October, to be distributed to local outreach programs.
Food Day is a nationwide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food
National Food Day aims to transform the American diet. All Americans regardless of their age, race, income or geographic location, should be able to select healthy diets and avoid obesity, heart disease, and other diet related issues.
In pursuit of healthier eating please support San Simeon’s participation in National Food Day. Donations of healthy, non-perishables can be brought to San Simeon from October 1- 28 between 8am and 8pm.
