CANCELED - Mattituck High School Empty Bowls Project to Help Feed the Hungry

Empty Bowls RESCHEDULED Friday, February 15, 2013MHS Cafeteria5pm to 7pmMattituck Junior-Senior High School is actively participating in the internationally renowned Empty Bowls Project: Students, teachers and community members have been creating ceramic bowls under the direction of Mattituck Art Teachers.The basic idea of Empty BowlsParticipants create ceramic bowls.   A simple supper of soup and bread is planned. Guests give a suggested $10 minimum donation. Guests choose a bowl to keep as a reminder of the bowl they have helped to fill.  All donations go to a hunger-fighting organization. Art Partners will be sponsoring an Empty Bowls Soup and Bread supper to benefit Maureen’s Haven.
