Suffolk Theater with 80's Band Decadia and Richie Cannata

It has been awhile since I have been out of the house at night, but Friday night was well worth it. Tonight was the first time I have ever been to the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead. After Temporary Closing in 1987 after the film dirty dancing, and not being used for well over twenty years, its Ironic that an amazing 80's band  called Decadia is now playing there twenty five years later.

Not only was Decadia fantastic, personable and interacted with the crowd, it was also Decadias first time playing in a theater. Guest Richie Cannata "Billy Joels" saxophone player back in the day was there and boy was he amazing, of course the whole band was terrific especially singer Pete, who sang Bon Jovie, New York State of Mind (Billy Joel), and songs from def leopard.

As you can imagine the 80's had so many good songs and Decadia covered a lot of them. The cost was only $25.00 to get in per person and the crowd where all dancing. The staff at the Suffolk Theater where very accommodating, always looking to help you.

Though I was surprised when going into the theater because I envisioned rows of seats, but the theater had tables, and at the tables where candles, and menus, so much better then rows of seats. So after  three hours of  80's music at the Suffolk Theater, I am thrilled and cant wait to go back.
I also couldn't wait to get home and blog about such a wonderful band. A must see band for all!
