News hit just recently that Angelina Jolie had a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer. After Angelina's mom dying at such a young age, Angelina found out she was at high risk for cancer and did not want to risk getting cancer in the future. Years ago Christina Appligate from the show married with children also has a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. Here on long island we have numbers off the charts for breast cancer, stars like Cristie Brinkley amoung others have spoken out And have raised more awareness. But would you be preventive like Angelina? Or Proactive like Christie?. I never really thought about what I would do, now is the time to think, you can be tested at any point in your life to see if you have a risk of breast cancer. Why wait?
