Community Update

After finding out last week the pain in my left knee was not Osteo arthrities, but a mnskies, with in days of diagnosis I had surgery and with in days after my surgery I am moving around nicely. The next few weeks of Pt. will only make my left knee stronger, but I am thrilled to be close to normal and hey I even lost seven pounds during surgery.

I figured I would give myself a makeover for all the pain I went through, really not a lot overall, so I got my hair dyed Magenta, though the end of the hair is still my original color they call my look Ombrey which means a mixture of hair color.

Loving the new do and the weight loss I am thrilled that summer is here. Though I didn't get to go to the strawberry festival my kids where able to attend, they always have such a good time there and spent the whole afternoon.

Boy have I become relaxed, and you gotta now that is hard to do especially when you have a special needs child. I feel Autism has taken such a big role in our lives, my kids get along great and we all manage but the level of stress was beyond me, now when I look back I realize it really is a different life and we where really thrown a lot of curve balls.

I do not regret the therapies my son has received, but now that he is in school and receiving them at the school it is much better, and the school is not as far as his pre-k one. His recent teachers are wonderful I really couldn't have asked for better teachers.

His Elopement has decreased majorly, he eats all different kids of foods, sleeping is great as ever, and he has become calmer. Though the next few months there will be some changes I have faith that he will be in great hands, he has two loving parents, a sister and a few dogs.

As we all know when having an autistic child the rate goes up in a marriage eighty percent of people with autistic children end up in divorce. I am thankful I am not one as autistic children need the love and affection of both parents, weather married or divorced I believe both parents are a big part of a child's life.
