So the kids are back to school and I am back to writing — how exciting is that? So far so good, routines for both kids have kicked in pretty quickly this school year, usually it takes weeks to get back into a routine. Getting pretty nippy outside these past few days I almost think I should put a coat on my children, maybe a sweatshirt, something to stay warm, but then it gets warmer throughout the days so it's not always needed.
Sickness is also around the corner. It's usually the first two weeks of school and my kids come home with something this year I am hoping for later in the year, and don't forget your flu shots which we tend to get in early October.
We have come across a program called "Project Life", it is a transmitter your child or the eldery wears if they wander. Though project life is not everywhere the time of arrival could be up to thirty minutes or less. Other forms of wandering devices are service dogs for autistic children, GPS tracking shoes, Door devices, and much more.
There is quite a bit out there for autistic children when pertaining to elopment. Eventually my son will be taking swimming classes turning five shortly, I remember when my daughter learned to swim, and it was a little younger than my son. It's never to early to learn!
So as we start getting ready for the holidays this year I have decided to shop early, the Halloween store will be opening where Blockbuster was originally in Riverhead once again and though I am not sure yet what my kids will be for Halloween, I have to say time sure does fly by especially in the holiday months.
