Ricki Lake Coming to TV September 2012

Starting a talk show once again coming in september 2012 will be the Ricki Lake show. After closing her show out in 2001 after her second son Owen was born and going through a divorce, Ricki Lake decided to move to California instead of staying in New York.

"Hairspray" was her first big break and then came "Crybaby" and a few other movies. But Ricki Lake hasn't always had it easy, nor does she today. Being overweight, Ricki Lake had to endure a lot of critsim for being the way she was, but most of all she had to deal with herself being at that weight.

She found Hollywood to be more accepting of her then she did of her own mother through out life as well as the guys she ran into. Now skinny, living in California and just recently did "Dancing with the Stars," Ricki has lost well over a hundred pounds.

Her new show will show a different image of Ricki Lake, though it may be similar to her last show, I am quiet interested in seeing it time to time. Walking through Manhatten Saks Fifth avenue I crossed paths with Ricki Lake back in the day.

Ricki also has a new book out today — "Never Say Never," it's quite good and talks about her everyday life.
