Affordable Childcare for Special Needs Children of all Ages

Kids of all ages where to find care.

So where are the daycares when you need them on the North Fork of Long Island? Its non-exitent out here I feel, there may be indiviual people willing to care for your child but not many and when it comes to special needs children its even that much harder to find care.

What about a special needs daycare? I was told that there arent many special needs kids on the south fork or north fork, but I am sure there are pleanty enough to somehow have either a indiviual person care for them or open up a daycare.

The kids may be in school all day but what about the nights, weekends, and maybe even mornings as well as holidays? Nanny Agencies cost anywhere between 600.00 and 750.00 just for one week and most can not even afford an aupair which is way more affordable then a nanny agency.

Thankfully on my sons two weeks off of school I was able to get affordable childcare through care.com what a relief. I was getting worried as he needs to be active twelve hours a day and for even two people that can be alot.

So we break the time up and so far so good. but what about the older children and kids with needs after eighteen? There is a site called greataupair.com though I havent used it aupairs as well as sitters are on that site and I have noticed the sitters are in there thirties and older.

Though there are day programs for adults after eighteen, schools will sometimes allow the kids to be in a school setting till age 21, then there is work programs. But you still have those nights and thats when sittercity,care.com, and greataupair come in handy.
