have reported that a tree fell across Route 25 near the and Bay Avenue in Mattituck at about 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday. As of 7:15 a.m., the eastbound lane is open to traffic and authorities are waiting on the Long Island Power Authority to clear downed wires, police said.
