Did you take the icy plunge at Crescent Beach on Saturday? Shelter Island Director Denise DiPaolo said that attendance at the Shelter Island Turkey Plunge "quadrupled" in its second year to raise funds for a renovation fund for the library. The event attracted young and old alike and is part of an ongoing celebration to commemorate the library's 125th year serving the island community.
