With the North Fork experiencing some heavy downpours recently, flooding inevitably will occur in low-lying areas around town.

But at least one Southold resident says she is frustrated with the flooding that happens in front of her home on South Harbor Road after every rainstorm.

"I have had a flooding problem in front of my home for over two years now with a storm drain and pavement caving in," said Southold resident Donna Gatt. "It just seems to be getting worse."

Drainage is indeed an important system in an area be it in a residential area or a public place. We (http://discountbackhoe.com) believe that flooding problems like this can be avoided if the system is installed right and regularly checked. Problems in the drainage system can be an expensive and challenging issue that's why it's better to make sure nothing's wrong.
