North Fork Promotion Council Names New Director

Eugene Gluck was named acting managing director of the by council members earlier this month.

Gluck runs his own Southold-based multimedia promotion company which helps businesses develop storefront an online presence. Gluck replaces Andrea Parks, who left the North Fork Promotion Council on Nov. 30 to work as director of development for nursing facility in Greenport.

Last February, the North Fork Promotion Council celebrated its 25th anniversary with the unveiling of a new website at . The council began 25 years ago as the Southold Transportation Council, a group made up of chamber of commerce members with the intention of marketing the North Fork in a new way.
