‘Tis the season to be looking for that perfect photo opportunity with Santa! If you are looking to meet the big guy in the next few weeks, here are some spots to do so.

1. The Railroad Museum in Greenport will have an open house this weekend and will play host to a special guest. Santa and friends will be arriving by train on Saturday, Dec. 3. At 11:30 a.m and will still until 3 p.m. He will be available for pictures on Sunday as well.
2. Santa will be visiting the Mattituck Plaza this weekend. Santa will arrive at Mattituck Plaza via a truck from the Mattituck Fire Department at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.3. and will be available for photos inside Rite Aid.
3. Community Action Southold Town (CAST)’s Holiday Happening at the Peconic Recreation Center will offer photos with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 3.
4. On weekends through the holiday season, Santa will be visiting the Shamrock Christmas Tree Farm in Mattituck.
5. In Southold, Santa will be helping families pick the right tree at Dart’s Christmas Tree Farm on weekends through Christmas too.
6. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be the guests of honor at the Greenport Village Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 11. The parade ends at the fire headquarters on Third Street and Santa will be available for photos.
7. Celebrate Christmas at Hallockville Farm Museum on Sunday, Dec. 4. Enjoy visiting an old-fashioned Christmas display and have an opportunity to meet Santa as well.
8. The Southold High School Junior class is hosting a breakfast with Santa at the high school on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Admission is $6 per person or $20 for a family of four.
9. Santa will be making visits by fire truck in Orient on Saturday, Dec. 10. Santa has his list and has checked it twice, but if you live in Orient or will be visiting for the weekend, be sure to call the fire department at 323-2445 to make sure your child is on Santa's list.
10. On Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m., Santa will be paying a special visit to Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport.
